Grey Hour

Hours

Six kinds of lines split into the grey-hour record and the public copies. The first group is the hour itself. The second group is a title and two web addresses that are already public.

Hours is the index of those six lines. Each line is a page that can be read on its own. The office writes from 360 South Chambers Road in Aurora. A person who needs a field filled sends a letter to thompson@thegreyhour.online and keeps the reply with that page.

The grey-hour record stays on South Chambers Road. Hour names write the English name of one dim hour, the street, the calendar day, and the refusal of a sitting. Shade counts stay inside one Aurora date: how many names were written, the opening name, and the closing name, in the order of writing. Lift dates follow one name from the day it was written to the day it was lifted, and then answer yes or no on whether that name may be written again.

The public copies stay with what can already be seen. Screen titles copy letters that are already on the screen, in the order they appear, and write the Aurora date of the reading. Shown lines hold only two web addresses, each marked shown or not shown. Second readings return to one sentence on a later day and write whether it still matches its source, and the date it stopped matching if it does not.

Nothing in either group books a sitting, prices a print, sells a clock, or holds an event. Nothing in either group adds a score, an install total, or a later store decision. A line that is missing a required field is not kept. The two groups are listed below.
