Hour names
An hour name writes three things and then refuses a sitting. The English name is what you call one dim hour. The place is always South Chambers Road. The day is a calendar day. The closing sentence says a sitting is not booked.
The name is ordinary English. It is not a table number, a ticket, or a time slot that a guest can hold. The place does not change from page to page. If a letter asks for another street, the office still writes South Chambers Road, Aurora, Colorado 80017. The day is the calendar day the line was written, not a suggested evening for a visit.
A line missing the name, the place, the day, or the refusal is not kept. A complete-looking name that still carries a booking is turned away. The refusal is part of the line, not a note added later. The sentence does not point to another room where a sitting might be taken.
A print price, a clock model, and an event date stay off the line. Shade counts and lift dates can refer to the same name, but they do not replace this page. If the English name, the day, or the refusal is still empty, write to thompson@thegreyhour.online and name this page in the letter.
