Second readings

A second reading records a later look at one sentence. It writes the date of that later reading. It writes whether the sentence still matches its source: yes or no. If it no longer matches, it writes the date the difference began.

The sentence may be a screen title, a shown-line mark, or another public line already copied on this website. The later reading uses the same order of letters. It does not polish the sentence. It does not shorten it for a later listing.

Yes means the later reading found the same letters in the same order. No means the letters no longer match, and the page then writes the date that difference began. The page does not invent a figure to stand in for a figure the source never had. It does not add a score to explain the change.

A second reading without a later date is not kept. A no without the date the difference began is not kept. If the later date or the yes-or-no field is still empty, write to thompson@thegreyhour.online and name this page in the letter.
